Milla's Summer Suit is inspired by the 1950's knits for kids, where the yoke was often worked in smocking st. The suit can easily be worn with leggings and a knit cardigan. Milla's Summer Suit is worked bottom up and the fit is snug.
Sizes: 0-3 (3-6) 6-12 (12-18) months
Measurements: Full length: 34 (38) 40 (42) cm. Width across the stomach: 20 (22) 23 (25) cm
Gauge: 28 sts and 40 rows = 10 x 10 cm (4 inches). It is important to obtain gauge. If not try with needles half a size smaller or larger.
Suggested needles: Size 2 mm and 2.5 mm circular needles, 40 or 60 cm (16 or 32 inches) for the body, size 2 mm and 2.5 mm double pointed needles for the sleeves, size 2.5 mm crochet hook.
Materials: 100 grams of yarn for all sizes, 5-6 little buttons.
Suggested yarn: Pima Cotton 8/2 from CaMaRose (50 g = 200 m/219 yards), Merci from Filcolana (50 g = 200 m/219 yards), Anina fra Filcolana (50 g = 210 m/230 yards)
