Cross Set
The pattern was developed in collaboration with the Red Cross. The entire sales from the Cross Set will be donated to the Red Cross.
The Cross Set consists of a hat and mittens. Both the hat and the mittens have a striped rib edge and a border with crosses. The hat is worked from the bottom up. The mittens are worked from the wrist to the fingertips. The thumb is worked at the end.

Gauge: 22 sts x 34 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches] in pattern and stockinette stitch on a 3.5 mm [US4] needles
Needles: 3 mm [US2½] and 3.5 mm [US4] / 80 cm [32 inches] circular needles if using the Magic Loop technique, or 3 mm [US2½] and 3.5 mm [US4] double-pointed needles
Materials: 4 different colors of Double Sunday by Sandnes Garn (50 g = 108 m [118 yds]) or Peer Gynt by Sandnes Garn (50 g = 91 m [98 yds])
Color 1 (pattern color and edges): approx. 38 (46) 50 (56) 60 g for the hat and approx. 8 (10) 15 (18) 22 g for the mittens
