Accessibility Statement
At PetiteKnit, we strive to make our website accessible to everyone and ensure a seamless and inclusive digital experience regardless of challenges. We therefore actively and continuously work towards compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the globally recognized standard for web accessibility.
Our efforts include:
- Accessible Design Principles such as readable text and sufficient color contrast in all digital experiences.
- Technological Compatibility whereby we aim to ensure compatibility with screen readers, keyboard navigation and other assistive devices.
Process
Since accessibility is a process, not a one-time measure, we continuously work on evaluation through manual testing, ongoing improvements and integrating accessibility into the design principles for new features and content.
We are aware that parts of the website are still not fully accessible.
Content that is not sufficiently accessible includes:
- Since the primary language of the website is Danish, link texts and alt texts for images are currently also in Danish. We are working on translating these.
- The language selector cannot be used to a sufficient and clear extent by keyboard navigation. This is a challenge we are working to resolve.
