The Breeze Bag is worked from the bottom up. The bottom is flat and it is worked on double-pointed needles, while the sides of the bag are worked in the round in a lace pattern on circular needles. At the top, the bag is divided into two sections and each section is finished separately. At the end, stitches are picked up and knitted along the edges of the bag and a double knitted edge is worked, which continues across the straps of the bag.
