Anker's Suit is worked top-down. The yoke consists of segments of rib stitch with increases followed by classic raglan increases. The suit is buttoned between the legs and at the back of the neck, where there is an opening to facilitate putting it on and off.

Gauge: 28 sts x 38 rows in stockinette st = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in)

Suggested needles: 3 mm (U.S. size 3) circular needles, with 40 and 60 cm (16 and 24 inches) cable length; 3 mm (U.S. size 3) double pointed needles (unless you are working with the magic loop method); or the required size to obtain gauge.

Materials: 100 (100) 100 (150) 150 (200) grams of fingering weight yarn, 4-5 buttons

Suggested yarn: Anina from Filcolana (50 g = 210 m/230 yards). As an alternative you could use a sport weight yarn, such as Tynn Merinoull from Sandnes Garn (50 g = 175 m/191 yards), but you will require 50g more yarn per size and you might need to adjust the needle size to obtain gauge.
